Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg

MODERN COUNTRY CLUB CULTURE

In Hamburg's Alstertal, Golf Hotel Treudelberg has stylishly repositioned itself. What was once a classic country hotel has become an elegant retreat that combines a connection to nature, proximity to the city and Hanseatic ease.

The new brand world reflects this transformation – clear, high-quality and contemporary.

Development of a holistic brand presence for the restaurant, bar and bistro outlets – including visual identity, colour and typography concept, and a clearly structured brand architecture for all three areas.

The new visual language brings the house's self-image to the point: Nordic calm, stylish, and with a clear commitment to quality. A custom-developed typography gives the brand a fine precision and a relaxed elegance that runs through every application – digital and analogue, subtle yet present.

Wall lettering “Lemsahler” and “Treudel bar” beneath golden globe pendants.

The colour palette takes its cue from the atmosphere of the Alstertal and the materiality of the redesigned spaces. Muted greens and beiges, soft grey tones and golden accents create a visual balance between nature and design. The result is a brand presence that radiates calm while showing a clear attitude.

The identity was designed to unite all areas of the house – hotel, spa, golf, dining and events – under one shared design umbrella. Each segment remains individually addressable while still fitting harmoniously into the overall picture. This gives the brand a coherent feel – versatile, yet clearly led.

The new brand presence makes the expanded self-image of Golf Hotel Treudelberg visible at every level. A design that conveys the house's values, attitude and atmosphere – modern, self-assured and firmly rooted in the north German landscape and the estate's origins as a farming manor. The entire production chain of a farming operation is staged: while the elegant restaurant stages the perfect plate, the bistro presents the product in a market-style setting, and the bar puts the production and processing process centre stage with an open counter. Storytelling that tastes good.
